BIG BAND & STREET BBQ!!

Hey Spartans!

The Kiwanis are asking for help for the Soda booth in Downtown Campbell for the Big Bands and Street BBQs.

They need 9 volunteers to help on the First shift which is from 11:30am -3:45pm

and..

Then 9 volunteers to help on the Second shift which is from 3:30pm - 7:30pm


All members must meet in front of the funeral home which is on 2nd st. and Campbell ave. to sign in with the Kiwanis at one of the above times (depending on what shift you choose to go to).

There are two separate booths for the Kiwanis, one next to the Rides and Games near second and Campbell and the other next to the info booth closer to Central ave.

Leave a comment here or email us so we get an idea about how many are going to attend to which shift. Questions? (:

Come spend the day at the beach with Region 17!
There will be exciting workshops, fun icebreakers, food (because Key Clubbers LOVE food), our annual sand sculpture contest, DCMs, and MUCH MORE!!! You do not have to be an officer to attend! This event is for everyone.

Time: 9:00am -3:00pm
Place: Manresa State Beach
1145 San Andreas Rd, Watsonville CA

Please bring $5 for registration, lunch provided

The California Native Garden in Lake Cunningham Regional Park welcomes volunteers to help with invasive plant removal, mulching, planting, and watering. The California Native Garden project aims to remove invasive plants from a 1-acre area and beautify it with California native wildflowers, perennials, and shrubs; to provide summer shade through native tree planting; to encourage community participation and ownership; to create a sustainable, low-maintenance landscape; to enhance nature-based recreation; to create habitat for birds and wildlife

They only need 25 volunteers, and we'll also be teaming up with students from Santa Clara High. So let's gather about 10 people from Wilcox shall we??? [=

Movie Nights

There is going to be Movie Nights held every Friday Night and the Kiwanis need help passing out snacks and setting up the outdoor movie.

Time: 6pm - 11pm
Place: Downtown Campbell Parking Garage

You can collect service hours there. Just find a fellow Kiwanian and tell them you came from Wilcox Key Club and you're there to help! ;D

You may or may not find all your board members there so don't be shy and socialize with other key clubbers! [x
